A central ruby (approximately 0.05ct), surrounded by 6 pearls & flanked with another pearl either side. Fine hand chasing & open work to the shoulders & finished with a reeded shank.At the centre back of the gallery is a bevelled glass locket area where the plaited hair of a loved one can be seen. The glass is still intact which is so often missing in a ring of this age. A rare & absolutely fantastic example & comes complete with a gift box.
