Art Deco 18ct Gold Sapphire Diamond Trilogy Ring, Antique Engagement C. This is a lovely antique trilogy ring set with a single sapphire and two small diamonds to the side. Made from 18ct yellow gold and marked 18ct to the inside of the shank. The ring is early 20.
Century, 1930's Art Deco era. The diamonds are old European brilliant cuts and are bright and eye clean and have a deep pavilion, they are slightly different sizes having an estimated carat weight of 0.15ct combined and are both in excellent condition.
The central sapphire is a small asscher cut and is a rich deep blue with a carat weight of 0.42ct estimated, the stone shows wear to the table facets and there is also historic wear/nibbles to the girdle edges of the stone. Overall in good antique condition for a ring of its age. This beautiful antique ring has been cleaned and sympathetically re-polished, wear with care and this ring will give its new owner much enjoyment. Please note that the antique ring box is not included, this delightful Art Deco ring will come in a new ring box.Stones: Natural Diamonds and sapphire (tested). Carat weight: Sapphire 0.42ct, diamonds combined 0.15ct estimated. Ring head dimensions: 5.8mm wide front centre.
