Victorian 9K Snake Garnet Love Heart Locket Ring

  

A very unusual locket ring. This ring has so much going for it.

It is a locket, a love heart, a snake and its Victorian....... I believe this to be a completely original Victorian era ring and not a marriage. The ring and locket are crafted from 9 Karat rose gold. The face is a working locket in the form of a love heart adorned with a snake. The snake is nicely detailed with garnet eyes. The locket opens to reveal two frames with no glass inserts. The heart is flat at the back so the size gauging was difficult, but I estimate it to be about a size 7 US. This ring is not tiny, but a good noticeable size.

The condition is excellent for its age, the inner frames are a little wobbly but easily remedied with glass or plastic inserts. The band is hallmarked and tested as 9 karat solid gold. Estimated ring Size: 7 US. Heart: 17.5 mm x 16.8 mm x 7.4 mm. Of course I honor this policy.
